Srinivas University Institute of Aviation Studies Hosts Collage Making Competition at Institute of Aviation Studies | 2026

The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, Mangaluru, successfully organized a Collage Making Competition on 23 January 2026 as part of its Republic Day celebrations. The event was conducted for students of BBA Aviation Management and Aviation Logistics and Management, with the aim of nurturing creativity, artistic expression, and awareness of India’s rich historical legacy.

The competition revolved around the theme “Icons of Indian History”, encouraging students to artistically portray eminent leaders, freedom fighters, and national icons who have played a defining role in shaping the nation. A total of 120 students participated with remarkable enthusiasm, presenting visually compelling and thought-provoking collages that reflected patriotism, innovation, and a deep understanding of India’s heritage.

The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean and Head of the Department, Institute of Aviation Studies, along with the NSS Coordinators. It was ably supported by faculty members and the student council, whose continuous encouragement and coordination ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the competition.

Based on the evaluation, the first prize was secured by Ms. Ayishath Sufaila, Ms. Fathima Zohara, Ms. Fathima Shaziya, Ms. Fathima Nihala, and Ms. Fathima Fayana. The first runners-up position was awarded to Ms. Sreelakshmi C, Ms. Avani K. M., Ms. Fathimathul Nasla V., Ms. Kavya K., and Ms. Malavika V. V. The second runners-up position was jointly secured by two teams comprising Ms. Samra Basheer, Ms. Likhitha, Mr. Rehaan, Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Farhan, Mr. Thoufeeq Hussain, and another team consisting of Mr. Adithya S., Mr. Akasha, Mr. Kishor K. Shetty, Mr. Manish Shetty, and Mr. Anvith S. Poojary.

The competition concluded with words of appreciation for all participants, and the winners were congratulated for their outstanding efforts. The event contributed meaningfully to the Republic Day celebrations by fostering national pride, teamwork, and creative thinking among students.
