Srinivas University’s Institute of Aviation Studies Hosts Bottle Painting Competition | 2026

The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized a Bottle Painting Competition on 20 January 2026 for students of BBA Aviation Management and BBA Aviation Logistics and Management. The event aimed to foster creativity, enhance artistic skills, and promote environmental awareness among students.

The competition received an enthusiastic response, with 92 students participating. Using discarded bottles as their canvas, participants transformed waste materials into visually striking and meaningful artworks. The entries reflected diverse themes, including sustainability, nature, and abstract concepts, highlighting the students’ imagination and sensitivity toward environmental conservation.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean and Head of the Department, Institute of Aviation Studies, with the support of cultural coordinators, faculty members, and the student council. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth and successful execution of the program.

Following a detailed evaluation by the judges, Ms. Pragathi Prakash Acharya from I Year BBA Aviation Management secured the first position. Ms. Varsha Ramesh from I Year BBA Aviation Management and Ms. Fathimathul Nasla V from III Year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management were declared joint first runners-up. The second runner-up position was awarded to Ms. Inchara Ganesh from I Year BBA Aviation Management.

The competition concluded on a high note, with appreciation and congratulations extended to all participants and winners for their creativity, innovation, and enthusiastic involvement. The event stood as a meaningful blend of art and environmental responsibility, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to holistic student development.
