The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, successfully organized Hastakriti – Wall Hangings Making Competition on 15 January 2026 at the Aviation Campus. Designed to foster creativity, skill development, and teamwork, the event offered students a vibrant platform to showcase their artistic abilities beyond the classroom.
An impressive 355 students, forming 71 teams from the BBA Aviation Management, BBA Aviation & Logistics Management, and MBA Aviation Management programs, participated with enthusiasm. Each team displayed exceptional imagination and craftsmanship, creating handmade wall hangings using a wide range of materials, colors, and themes. The exhibits reflected not only artistic flair but also thoughtful design and collaborative effort.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, along with the Head of the Department, cultural coordinators, faculty members, and student council representatives. Their collective support ensured seamless coordination and the smooth execution of the competition.
Based on the judges’ evaluation, the winners in the UG category were:

- First Runners-up:Ms. Shreya, Ms. K. Shreya Prabhu, Ms. Shreya, Ms. Amrutha, and Ms. Shivananda (I Year BBA Aviation Management);Ms. Simona, Ms. Bhagya, Ms. H. N. Swapna, Ms. Prajutha, and Ms. Deepthika T (II Year BBA Aviation Management).
- Second Runners-up:Ms. Pragathi Prakash Acharya, Ms. Deeksha Puthran, Ms. S. Shivani, Ms. Chaithra, and Ms. Harshitha (I Year BBA Aviation Management);Ms. Fathimathul Nasla V, Ms. Megha, Ms. Sushmitha, Ms. Kavya, and Ms. Malavika (III Year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management);Ms. Amrutha H J, Ms. Harshitha, Ms. Janani, Ms. Jayanthi, and Ms. Amina Ruba (I Year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management).
In the PG category, the winners were Ms. Vinu T, Ms. Ayshath Naziya Nasareen, Mr. Haseeb K K, Mr. Mahammad Hashim, and Mr. Mohammed Varis from I Year MBA Aviation Management.
Overall, Hastakriti – Wall Hangings Making Competition proved to be a vibrant and enriching experience. The event not only nurtured artistic expression but also strengthened teamwork, confidence, and creative thinking among students, reinforcing Srinivas University’s commitment to holistic education.
