Social Responsibility Through Education
On
7th August 2025, the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas
University, successfully conducted an Essay Writing Competition as
part of its Anti-Drug Awareness Initiative. The event, organized by the Anti-Drug
Committee in collaboration with the Management Forum, aimed to
inspire students to make healthier life choices and reject substance abuse.
The contest’s theme, “Saying No to Drugs; Is Saying Yes to Life”, motivated participants to reflect on the harmful effects of drugs and the value of purposeful living.
Over
200 Students Participate in the Awareness Drive
A
remarkable 201 students took part in the competition, representing:

- BBA Aviation Travel and Tourism
Management
The event was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean of the Institute, and Ms. Anjana T V, Head of Department & Event Coordinator, supported by faculty members dedicated to student development.
