The event was conducted as part of the Institute's ongoing efforts to encourage extracurricular participation, strengthen student engagement, and promote the physical and mental well-being of its students.
Every match on the board showcased the players' sharp concentration, hand-eye coordination, and strategic thinking, turning the tournament into an enjoyable and closely contested experience for everyone involved. Beyond the scoreboard, the event gave students a valuable platform to build qualities such as teamwork, leadership, patience, and sportsmanship — skills that extend well beyond the carrom board and into their broader academic and professional journeys.

First Year, MBA Aviation Management
After a series of closely fought, exciting matches, Bengalli Manish and Mohammad Varis from the first year MBA Aviation Management programme emerged as the winners of the Doubles Carrom Tournament. Their excellent coordination, skillful gameplay, and sheer determination on every shot helped the duo secure the championship title.

The successful conduct of the tournament was made possible through the guidance and support of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, along with the SWO, HODs, the Sports Coordinator, and faculty members of the Institute. Their encouragement played a significant role in motivating students to participate actively in sports and recreational activities.
The event concluded with appreciation for all participants and organisers. The Carrom Tournament not only provided a refreshing break from academic activities but also strengthened the bond among students and encouraged a culture of teamwork and healthy competition at the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University.
