The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized a Blood Donation Camp on June 10th, 2026, at Aviation Campus, Hampankatta, Mangaluru. The camp was held with the noble aim of promoting voluntary blood donation and raising awareness about the critical importance of donating blood to save lives.

The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a prayer, setting a spirit of reverence and purpose for the day. This was followed by a warm welcome address that extended gratitude to all attendees and passionately encouraged participation in this life-saving cause.

Pre-Donation Process

Before donating, every participant underwent a thorough multi-step screening managed professionally by the on-site medical team, ensuring the safety of both donors and recipients.

Community Participation

The blood donation drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and administrative staff. A total of 70 individuals registered for blood donation, reflecting the university's vibrant culture of social responsibility.

The collected blood units were carefully preserved and dispatched to Srinivas Hospital, Mukka, where they will support patients in urgent need of transfusions. The camp concluded at 1:30 PM on a deeply positive note — a reminder that the simplest acts of kindness can touch lives far beyond the walls of any campus.
