On 3rd
July 2025, the Institute of Aviation Studies at Srinivas
University, Mangalore, successfully conducted an insightful and hands-on
workshop titled “Mastering LinkedIn for Career Growth.” The
session was specifically designed for MBA in Aviation Management
students, aiming to equip them with the skills and strategies needed to
build a strong professional presence on LinkedIn — the world’s leading career
networking platform.
The
workshop was led by Mr. Jeevan Austin Veigas, Marketing
Manager at Srinivas University, who brought real-world experience and live
demonstrations to the classroom. The session offered students practical
training on how to optimize their LinkedIn profiles, craft compelling About
Me sections, and highlight key skills and achievements to attract
potential employers.
Under
the able guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari (Dean), Ms. Anjana
T V (Head of the Department), and Mrs. Swasthika (IT Coordinator),
the event was well-coordinated with the dedicated support of other faculty
members and staff.
