Srinivas University’s Institute of Aviation Studies hosted the SU Aviators Business Expo on 16 February 2026 at the Aviation Campus, creating a vibrant platform for students to explore entrepreneurship through real-world business experiences. The event was designed to encourage innovation, develop management skills, and help students understand the practical aspects of launching and running a business.
Experiential Learning Through Student-Led Businesses
Students from BBA Aviation Management, BBA Aviation and Logistics Management, and MBA Aviation Management actively participated by forming teams and setting up business stalls across the campus. The expo featured a diverse mix of food stalls and product-based business concepts, allowing participants to apply classroom knowledge in a live marketplace environment.
By interacting directly with customers, students gained hands-on experience in:

Basic financial planning, including cost, revenue, and profit calculations
The product-focused stalls demonstrated creativity and innovation, with students emphasizing branding, visual merchandising, and promotional techniques to attract and retain customers.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean of the Institute of Aviation Studies, and Mr. Roshin K. Sibi, Head of the Department, along with cultural and management coordinators and faculty members. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth planning and execution of the expo.
