Mangaluru, July 7, 2025 – The Institute of Aviation Studies at Srinivas University welcomed its new batch of undergraduate students with an inspiring and well-organized UG Orientation Programme 2025, setting the tone for an exciting academic journey ahead.
The event commenced with a serene prayer session led by Mr. Abhishek from Student Aviation, invoking blessings for the students' bright future. Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean of the Institute, delivered an energetic welcome address, motivating the freshers to dream big and stay dedicated.
Adding a symbolic touch, saplings were presented to the dignitaries, representing growth, learning, and new beginnings. This was followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, a moment that signified the dispelling of ignorance and the enlightenment of knowledge.

The highlight of the orientation was a motivational speech by Chief Guest Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Honourable Pro-Chancellor and Vice President of Srinivas Group of Institutions. Smt. A. Vijayalakshmi R. Rao, Trustee Member, shared her blessings and warm words of encouragement with the new students, while Prof. Er. Smt. A. Mitra S. Rao, another Trustee Member, addressed the gathering and administered the oath of commitment to the students — encouraging them to uphold integrity, responsibility, and excellence throughout their journey.
