The
Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University organized VIGAMA 2025 – The
Final Departure on 24th May 2025, as a heartfelt farewell event for the
Undergraduate Batch of 2022. The farewell was dedicated to students from the
BBA streams of Aviation Management, Aviation Travel & Tourism Management,
and Aviation & Logistics Management.
The
event embraced an aviation theme, creatively symbolizing the university as a
transit hub in the students’ lives, with their future envisioned as their next
flight. The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Pavithra
Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University; Ms. Anjana T.
V, Head of the Department, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University;
and Mr. Roshin K. Sibi, Student Welfare Officer, Institute of Aviation Studies,
Srinivas University.
The
celebration commenced with a warm chocolate welcome and a prayer by the faculty
team. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Mrs. Bhagyashree, and
the purpose of the gathering was presented by Mrs. Aishwarya Shetty.
Students
shared their memories and experiences from the past three years of their
academic journey. The dignitaries then addressed the gathering, offering their
blessings, words of encouragement, and best wishes for the students’ future endeavours.
To add vibrancy and engagement to the event, a video montage capturing
memorable moments was screened, followed by interactive games that brought
laughter and Togetherness. The celebration also included a delightful lunch
with pizza and beverages, further adding to the cheerful atmosphere.
The
event concluded with heartfelt goodbyes, emotional exchanges, and lasting
smiles, marking the end of a beautiful chapter and the beginning of new
journeys.
VIGAMA
2025 was successfully conducted with the support and presence of the Dean, HOD,
Student Welfare Officer, all faculty members, and the dedicated team of the
Institute of Aviation Studies.
