The Institute of Aviation Studies successfully organized the Aviator Premier League
(APL) Auction on 24th February 2025, in their campus at Hampankatta, Mangalore.
This marked an exciting beginning to the upcoming cricket tournament on
February 28, 2025. This unique initiative, designed exclusively for aviation
students, saw the student owners strategically bid to form their ideal teams in
an intense and competitive auction.
The
APL Auction featured 15 student owners for the team with high-energy bidding
wars, strategic planning, and calculated decisions, the event showcased the
owners' managerial skills and deep understanding of team dynamics. The program
was hosted by Anjana T. V, HOD, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas
University, ensured the smooth execution of the auction process. The APL
Auction was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean,
Institute of Aviation Studies. Srinivas University. The event was coordinated
by Mrs. Bhagyashri, Sports Coordinator, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas
University.
The
event provided an engaging and competitive atmosphere, allowing students to
experience the thrill of an auction-based selection process. It also served as
a platform for enhancing their leadership abilities and understanding of sports
management dynamics. With
the teams finalized, attention now shifts to the APL Cricket Match on February
28, where players will demonstrate their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in
an exciting game.
