On September 21, 2024, the Institute of Aviation Studies at Srinivas University proudly participated in the international coastal cleanup initiative "Sea the Change," organized by the Coast Guard District HQ (Karnataka). The event took place at Panambur Beach in New Mangalore.
Our students not only showcased their vibrant cultural talents but also actively contributed to environmental conservation. They joined 182 participants in a comprehensive beach cleanup, removing waste and debris to restore the pristine beauty of Panambur Beach. By working alongside volunteers from various organizations, our students helped raise awareness about the detrimental effects of pollution on marine ecosystems.
Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean of the Institute of Aviation Studies, along with faculty members, joined the students in this meaningful initiative. Their participation demonstrated the Institute's commitment to both academic excellence and social responsibility.
