On
24th September 2025, the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas
University, observed the auspicious occasion of Sharada Pooja
alongside the inauguration of a new classroom at the Aviation Campus.
The day was marked with traditional rituals, devotional offerings, and prayers
invoking the blessings of Goddess Sharada, revered as the goddess of
wisdom and learning.
The
ceremony was graced by the esteemed leadership of Srinivas University. Dr.
CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor of Srinivas University and President of
A. Shama Rao Foundation, presided over the event. He was accompanied by Dr.
A. Srinivas Rao, Pro-Chancellor and Vice President of the Foundation; Smt.
Vijayalakshmi R. Rao, Trustee Member and Director of the Foundation; Prof.
Er. Smt. A. Mitra S. Rao, Trustee Member and Secretary of the Foundation;
and Dr. Anil Kumar, Registrar of Srinivas University.
The
inauguration of the new Aviation Classroom was a highlight of the
program, symbolizing the University’s commitment to creating modern learning
spaces and nurturing academic excellence. The event was organized under the
guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean of the Institute of Aviation
Studies, with the support of Ms. Anjana T.V., Head of the Department,
and the active participation of faculty members and staff.
Adding a cultural and devotional dimension to the celebration, students of the Institute of Aviation Studies rendered soulful bhajans in honor of Goddess Sharada, creating an atmosphere of peace and reverence. The program concluded with prayers for the prosperity and success of students and staff, making the occasion a memorable blend of tradition, spirituality, and academic progress at Srinivas University.
