On
24th June 2025, the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University,
organized an industrial visit to Deccan Plast Industries Private Limited,
Mangaluru, for the First Year MBA Aviation Management students. The purpose of
the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the manufacturing
processes and operational aspects of the plastic and polymer industry. A total
of 15 students participated in the visit, which was successfully coordinated
under the guidance of Dean, Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Ms. Anjana T.V, Head of the

and blow moulding, quality control procedures, and final packaging. The
technical staff at Deccan Plast Industries guided the students throughout the
plant, offering detailed explanations about the functions and operations of the
different machinery and technologies used in the production process.

Industrial visit proved to be an insightful and enriching experience, providing
students with a first-hand understanding of industrial workflow, safety
standards, and supply chain operations. Furthermore, it served to bridge the
gap between theoretical classroom learning and practical Industrial practices
by illustrating the real-time application of management principles. Overall,
the Industrial visit significantly enhanced the students' awareness of the
operational dynamics of the plastic and polymer industry and contributed
meaningfully to their academic and professional development.
