A REPORT ON THE ONE DAY SEMINAR ON AVIATION SECURITY SOFTWARE
A One-day Seminar on the theme “ICAO Basic Aviation Security” was organized at City Campus of Srinivas University, Pandeshwar, Mangalore on 16.01.2019. This Seminar was organized by the College of Management & Commerce for the BBA Aviation Management Students. The Chief Guest was Mr. Igor Dobrovolskyi, Director, ICAO European Regional Aviation Security, Training Centre, Ukraine. In his address he demonstrated the XIAT Airport Security Analysis Software specially meant for the use of Aviation students. He gave a brief note of this software in training the students and also helpful in exposing the students in airport safety and security issues. Sri M.R. Vasudeva, Former Director, Mangalore International Airport & Chief Mentor of Aviation Students was the Guest of Honour. He spoke on the usage of the above software in getting placements, job opportunities in the Airports. Dr. P.S. Aithal, Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University presided over the function. Mr. Rahul, Delegate from Euro Travels was present on the occasion. Prof. Shailashri V.T., Dean, Commerce and Management, welcomed the gathering. Prof. Pavithra Kumari, Coordinator of BBA Aviation Management Course gave away vote of thanks.
